and London. Looking towards London, this is now the
Gunnislake Branch after the tracks were lifted beyond
Bere Alston. Also vi sable is the Tamar Bridge. This
photograph is taken from one of the Approach Spans on
the Royal Albert Bridge itself.

Taken from track level, the 15mph speed
sign is a painful restriction caused by the the curvature
of the approach spans. The Union Inn certainly stands
out with the huge Union Jack frontage!
